I started my career with an undergraduate degree in the field of study developed by engineer-inventor-architect R. Buckminster Fuller who pioneered the concept of "Spaceship Earth". He recommended me for graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania for originating a theory about technologically-advanced extraterrestrial civilizations. That theory is that all successful civilizations must have space vehicle launch sites on their home planet that are solar-powered:

In 2007, I was trained by Al Gore to present a version of the slide show he used in the film "An Inconvenient Truth".
I have also been selected to join 20-25 fellows in 2008-2009 by the Environmental Leadership Program, which "seeks to transform public understanding of environmental issues by training and supporting a diverse network of visionary, action-oriented emerging leaders."
