How is it that something 460 miles long, 6 miles wide and, and up to 2,600 feet deep would go unnoticed until now? We’re not talking about an object far off in space. We are talking about a canyon that is comparable to the Grand Canyon which was recently discovered (by accident) beneath Greenland’s melting ice sheet.
