Augusten Burroughs, Take Two

Augusten Burroughs, author of the bestselling memoirs “Running with Scissors” and “A Wolf at the Table,” as well as the new holiday-themed “You Better Not Cry,” returned to Big Think this week for a second candid conversation.

In his previous appearance, Burroughs reflected on the art of memoir, weighed in on the Oprah Effect on American literature, and recounted the battle with severe alcoholism that began when he was age thirteen:
