Death in the Afternoon

Read Khalid al-Hammadi’s excellent piece on some Yemeni military officers being sentenced to death for collaborating with the Huthis. This seems to come out of the incredibly poor job of surrendering that the 105th did last month.

Also, another assassination in Marib. To no one’s surprise al-Qaeda is being blamed, but it is a bit too early to tell what this is.
