Ed Conard
Author, Unintended Consequences
Edward "Ed" Conard served as a Managing Director at Bain Capital, LLC from 1993 until 2007. He headed Bain’s New York office from 2000 onward. Conard started his career at Bain & Company, where he headed the management consulting firm's operations practice area. Conard received his B.S.E. in Operations Research from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A., with distinction, from Harvard Business School. He has a book forthcoming in May, 2012 titled, Unintended Consequences: Why Everything You’ve Been Told About the Economy is Wrong.
