Thomas Cooley:  Well, it's important to have very clearly defined incentives in business.  I believe that people do respond to incentives, but people also respond to vision and values.  So I think the important thing is that business leaders who are really successful make the people who work with them successful as well.  And success is defined in a lot of different ways.  So obviously, there's economic success, but that's only a part of it.  An important part of it is being part of a shared vision for what you're accomplishing in society.
