Temperature Tracking

Roughly half of the heat that scientists believe has built up on Earth in recent years due to global warming is unaccounted for. Scientists are warning that current measurement instruments are inadequate for tracking this “missing” heat, which could be building up deep in the oceans or elsewhere. “The heat will come back to haunt us sooner or later,” says scientist Kevin Trenberth, who says it is critical to find a way to track the lost heat.
