Pigeons Scatter in Kathmandu’s Patan Durbar Square as a young girl scampers through.

Patan Durbar Square is one of seven UNESCO World Heritage sites located in Kathmandu Valley and one of three Durbar Squares in the area. Durbar Squares are Nepalese open-air plazas that feature architecturally-marvelous temples and shrines. Many of the structures located in Patan Durbar Square date to the 17th century.
