Europe, Australia Need Tea Party

“A taste of the small-government, anti-spending Tea Party would do a world of good to conservatives in Australia and Europe,” opines Australian columnist Janet Albrechtsen. “If you could extract it and bottle it, send the first shipment to Europe. On the Continent, workers are protesting against their governments making essential and overdue spending cuts. In the US, the people are protesting for spending cuts.” “In Australia, we could do with a sip of this American brew. We don’t have the same history. Our economy is doing better than theirs. But good ideas are universal.”
